About Each for the Other Couples Groups PDF Print E-mail

Within our Each for the Other Couples Groups is an environment designed for married adults so we may be able to encourage and empower your marriage. Every marriage needs to be surrounded by people and principles that reflect God's unconditional love.

Our mission is to help people experience the individual growth necessary for a healthy marriage. We attempt to fulfill this mission by creating relevant environments designed to:

  • Prepare engaged couples to get off to a great start.
  • Empower couples and their friends with fun, yet powerful environments.
  • Encourage people to be a part of a small group to experience friendship and support.

iMarrage: Transforming Your Expectations (6-weeks)
Leaders: Alan and Tricia Moose
Where:  170 Rhonda Drive, York, PA 17408

When: Wednesdays (6:30 - 8:00pm)

Giddy with excitement and burning with love’s fire, engaged couples are filled with desires and expectations! Wonder and eager anticipation propel them forward. Then comes the marriage and if they take the wrong approach, those unrealized expectations and unmet wants can turn a life-giving covenant relationship into a dead-end contractual agreement. Suddenly your marriage has no love, joy, or peace. In this marriage-makeover DVD and study guide, Andy Stanley ’s three key teachings help you transform your expectations and examine the “I’s” of marriage: “Keeping My ‘I’ On You,” “Putting Your ‘I’ Out,” and “It Takes Three.”

So what are you to do with your expectations? You can’t deny them because most expectations started out as God-given desires. During this study, Andy Stanley will explain that you must instead learn to transform your expectations and look to God if you are to experience marriage as it was designed.

Lessons include:

  • Great Expectations
  • When Expectations Collide
  • One to Another
  • Husbands and Wives
  • It Takes Three
  • Box Talk
