As ambassadors for Christ it is our desire to go into the world to fulfill the great commission defined in Matthew 28:19. We plant spiritual seeds, water seeds that have been sown, or harvest souls for the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "Follow me and I will make you fishers of men" (Matthew 4:18-20). As we reach outside the walls of the church into the community, we minister to the lost through prayer, encouragement, and sharing of the "good news of the gospel."


World Missions

We specifically and prayerfully target the parts of the world that do not presently receive the gospel message. Our goal is to commit 70 % of our mission's budget to unreached people groups and 30% to domestic missions. We believe this fulfills the Lord's command in Acts 1:8 to reach the end of the earth with the gospel.

The purpose of our missions program is to glorify God and present His character and nature by effectively proclaiming the message of salvation in Jesus Christ throughout the world in order that lost sinners might accept Christ as their personal Savior and become faithful disciples and active participants in a sound local church with a similar mission purpose.

Community Outreach

Various occasions are provided throughout the year to reach out to our community with an invitation to know Christ.  You are invited to be part of reaching our neighbors with the gospel.  Be on the lookout for announcements regarding upcoming events.

Door-To-Door Outreach

Our outreach team meets in the evening each week to go into the neighborhoods of Hanover for friendly visits. God opens many doors and often gives opportunities to minister to the lost and hurting. He also uses the team to encourage other Christians that might need assurance or prayer.

This ministry is open to all believers of any age, who have a desire to serve the Lord through witness, prayer, or just support as a team member.

Evangelism Training

Hanover Community Church gives training in evangelism to equip believers to effectively present the good news of Christ. We invite you who have fears of witnessing and sharing your faith with others to attend. The Evangelism Explosion training ministry that HCC uses can teach you to share your faith in a confident, non-threatening way.
