During the month of June, Hanover Community Church will be focusing on service. We would love to help you find your spiritual giftedness and learn how to use it at HCC and beyond. Try one or more of the following challenges this month!

My Whole Life in the Spirit
Did you know that when you are a believer in Jesus Christ, that the Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in YOU? Listen as Pastor Matt Miller will bring us the message “My Whole Life in the Spirit” from Romans 8:6-11.
Join us on Wednesday June 17th at 6:30pm for a Women's Missions Night! Get to know one of our supported missionaries, the country and culture she serves in, and enjoya night of fellowship and tasty treats! No need to sign up, just plan on coming at 6:30pm and bring a friend!
Fighting Your Giants with the Armor of God

Your students will learn about the armor of God during the week long Challenge Camp at HCC.
What to expect:
Please pack a lunch & water bottle daily
We provide snacks, games, crafts, worship, Bible lesson, sports, and so much more! On Friday campers will enjoy water games and parents are invited to a closing skit performance & picnic at the end of camp.

Help minister to the shut-ins at You First Personal Care Home on Wednesday, June 24th at 2:00 PM. We provide activities for the residents and build relationships seeking opportunities to share the love of Christ. For further information, contact Alexis Gearhart, or the church office to be put in touch.
Join us as we focus on prayer every Wednesday throughout the month of July. Each week there will be a different focus topic. All ages are welcome!
Do you have a Spiritual gift for teaching, or a desire to grow in your teaching skills? Do you want to learn how to study the Bible and compose a lesson for others?
If you are someone who wants to learn more about teaching others join Pastor Matt Miller and Rachel Haines as they lead a 5 week class to help equip you in your teaching skills.
In this class we will learn more about the heart and posture of a teacher, how to read the Bible in context and discern its meaning, connect to the gospel of Jesus and help our learners apply the Bible to their lives.
Whether you work as a teacher in kids ministry, with students, or adults- or maybe you want to teach your own family, or simply want to be a better student of the Scriptures, we invite you to join us at 6:30 PM on Thursday nights in July as we Focus on Teaching.

Join us at the RC Theatre in Hanover on Wednesday, July 8th at 10:00 AM for a special $1 showing of the movie, "David" about a young King David. This will be a fun event for kids of all ages!
Join us for an HCC movie night on July 10th at 7:00 PM, as we watch the film, "The Hiding Place" (2023) together. The Hiding Place takes place during World War II. Darkness has fallen over Europe, but on a quiet city corner in the Netherlands, some choose to resist. Corrie Ten Boom and her family risk everything to hide Jewish refugees by the hundreds, and they ultimately face the consequences when they are discovered. The Hiding Place is their story-a story of faith, hope, love, and forgiveness in the face of unthinkable evil.
This event is sponsored by our Women's Ministry team, but is open to everyone!
Join us on Saturday July 11th at 9:00 AM for Hands of Hope Crafters. A community of crafters (crocheters, knitters, sewers, scrapbookers) of any skill level who wish to serve the Kingdom by creating intentional items to support the Operation Christmas Child ministry. Each month there will be a selected project for each group along with supplies and instructions.
Join us for a Women in the Word night on Friday, July 17th at 6:30 PM as we dive into Matthew 18. Together we will unpack Biblical truth about what forgiveness means for us as Christians and tackle some practical ways to make peace in our relationships. It will be a night of fun, fellowship, study, and charcuterie! Sign up on Sunday morning in the Sanctuary or through the Church Center app.
Join other Men for a morning of fellowship, and a hearty breakfast on Saturday, August 15ht at 8:00 AM. What better way to begin your day and your weekend than with other brothers in Christ and with a devotional from God's Word?
