Lisa’s faith journey began in Baltimore County, where she was raised attending a Catholic church and often joined friends at their churches as well. During high school she met her husband, whose church she began attending, and together they built the foundation of a shared faith. The couple married in 2003 with a desire to raise their future children to know and love the Lord.
As a dedicated homeschool mother of four, Lisa has cherished the opportunity to teach her children from a biblical worldview. After a period of searching for a church community that felt like home, a friend invited their family to a church in Whitemarsh. There, Lisa discovered what it meant to have a true, personal relationship with God. It was in that season that she fully dedicated her life to Jesus and was baptized.
In 2012, Lisa and her family moved to Pennsylvania, where they became involved in a local church. Lisa volunteered faithfully and later joined the staff, serving in the Children’s Ministry for more than eight years. Her love for Jesus and her passion for sharing the truth of the Gospel with children and families have shaped her ministry—planning family events, mentoring, teaching, and joyfully partnering with volunteers. Her commitment to continual growth drives her to pursue ongoing training to better serve in her role as Children’s Ministry Director.
Lisa treasures time with her husband, whether they are golfing, hiking, or watching a good comedy. She also enjoys cooking family dinners, hosting game nights, taking day trips, bowling, paddle boarding, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Quiet moments with her dogs and a good book are among her favorite forms of rest
Through God’s prompting and a desire for deeper faith and stronger community, Lisa and her family found their way to Hanover Community Church. They are grateful to call it their home and look forward to continuing to serve and grow alongside their church family.
