What is the culture of Hanover Community Church like?

Hanover Community Church is a group of imperfect people. We are normal people just like you who are in search of a meaningful life and a real relationship with God.

What ages is your church and/or worship service geared towards?

Hanover Community Church is a multi-generational church. We have people of all ages from newborns to people in their 90's worshiping with us!

What are services like? What should I wear?

Our services are approximately 80 minutes long with enjoyable music and a teaching message from the Bible. Please dress comfortably and help yourself to some coffee and snacks when you arrive.

Where do I go when I get to the church?

From the moment you arrive at HCC there will be greeters in our parking lot waving you in. Go through the doors under the carport and you will be greeted by more of our Welcome Team. Be sure to let them know that this is your first time visiting our church and they will direct you to our Welcome Desk where helpful people will assist you in finding your way around to our Sanctuary and to our Children's programming.

What is there for my children?

We have many children's education classes and activities that range in age from newborn to 6th grade. Please click here to learn more about our children's ministries.

What is there for adults?

We are so glad you asked! There are many classes and life groups available to all ages that will help you grow in your faith and in community with others. When you visit you can ask questions at our Welcome Desk about our current adult programs, or you can visit our Adult Groups page to see what we are currently offering.

How can I get further involved?

Start by visiting our Welcome Desk, where helpful people can assist you to find the ministries that best fit you. Our Adult Discipleship Groups and serving ministries (e.g., Music, Children’s) are ideal ways to get more involved in the life of the church.

What happens in the event of inclement weather?

Church closings or delays can be found on TV WHTM ABC-27, on the radio on WJTL (90.3 FM), or online here. You can always keep up to date at the church's Facebook page.
