The Women of Hanover Community Church will glorify God as disciples who make disciples, through the teaching of God’s Word, the equipping of women to serve the church, the unity of our fellowship, and our worship of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We foster a supportive sisterhood by connecting women of all ages who:
Love God and people
Develop a strong faith through Bible study and prayer
Share their gifts and talents
Share the love and truth of Christ with others
A Women's Ministry grounded on Matthew 28:18-20 and Titus 2:3-5.
Women's Bible Study at HCC
We are women of different ages and different stories, but we have the same desire: to know God more. Join us this year as we study the exciting book of 1 Samuel. Grow in your knowledge, build friendships, and as we open God's Word together- prepare for your heart to be fed in a way you didn't realize you were craving.

Online Study- At Your Own Pace
Study 1 Samuel at your own pace, alongside our online Women's small group this year.
A workbook of homework will be provided, as well as access to an online small group so you can connect with other members, ask questions, and have discussion.
Teachings will be livestreamed on YouTube on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 AM beginning September 8th, and will also be available for viewing on our YouTube channel after class.

In this study, we will learn how John's Gospel will challenge us to take the posture of peace - which is a stillness of the soul no matter what one's circumstances are. Grow in intimacy with Christ and learn to embrace His peace in the midst of a hectic life and a chaotic world.

Join us on Sunday, August 30th at 11:45 AM in the Fellowship Room for a Women's Ministry Meeting. At this meeting we will be discussing our Summer study in the Book of Revelation in preparation for our 2027 Women's Retreat, and selecting committee roles for that event. We will also briefly look at what's coming for women at HCC in 2026-2027.

Women's Ministry Leadership
Rachel Haines, Women's Ministry Director
Rachel Haines serves as the Women's Ministry Director at Hanover Community Church, and teaches our Tuesday morning Ladies Bible Study. Teaching the Bible is her favorite part of her job.
Rachel loves seeing all people in the family of God growing and maturing in their faith, but especially loves serving women here at HCC.
Rachel also works alongside Pastor Matt and helps to assist with the planning and administration of Adult Discipleship.
