Hanover Community Church's Kids Ministry is here to assist and equip parents to disciple their children to know God, follow Jesus and love others.
Our kids ministry is split into two age ranges, Newborn-4 years old and then Kindergarten-6th grade.

Sunday Mornings
God’s Treasures
(Psalm 127:3)
This ministry focuses on our Newborn-2 year olds. Our nursery is a place for children to grow, play, and be loved by our staff.
God’s Treasures Pre-K
(Psalm 127:3)
Our 3-4 year olds are working through FaithWeaver Curriculum, which takes them from cover to cover through the Bible in an age-appropriate manner. This curriculum also focuses on follow up with families!
Kingdom Kids
(Matthew 19:14)
Kindergarten-3rd grade are split up into similar age groupings, but all follow the same curriculum, Faithweaver. This curriculum takes each age group through the Bible cover to cover in an age-appropriate manner. Have kids in multiple age groups? They’re learning the same Bible lesson so you can discuss it together as a family!
Age Groups are split into the following:
Kindergarten-1st grade
2nd-3rd Grade
Rooted (4th-6th grade)
Colossians 2:6-7
Our goal for this age group is not only to show them Christ through Scripture, but also to prepare them to transition into youth group and to share their faith with others. We want to provide a safe place for them to come and form friendships, root themselves in their faith, and serve others.

For His Glory
If you are a caregiver or support person for a child with emotional, behavioral, mental, or physical need, we would love to invite you to join us the 2nd Saturday of each month for encouragement and commradery with other women who understand.
Volunteers
Volunteers are an important part of our kids ministry. We couldn’t do it without them! Our volunteers, first and foremost, LOVE GOD! They have a passion for children and teaching them more about Christ. Our volunteers are split into 3 teams. Each team serves for 2 weeks and then are able to be off for 4 weeks. They serve from August-June each school year.
Want to volunteer? You must be at least 14 years. All volunteers 18+ must complete a background check, state wide clearances, child abuse clearances, mandated reporter training, and, if applicable, FBI clearances, in accordance with Pennsylvania State laws.
